complicated appointment
scheduling they required....
This busy group does general surgery, endoscopy,
vasectomies, and hysterectomies at four different
surgery sites plus their own completely equipped
surgical suite. They needed a practice management
system with an appointment scheduler that gave them
weekly, daily, location, and provider views to allow
them to determine at a glance which appointment
slots were available. Most importantly, they needed a
highly customizable system that let them change
templates “on the fly” and cue appointments that need
rescheduling.
Solution....
With MicroMD they found a scheduler with everything
they needed, including tracking authorized visits, postop
periods and pre-certification alerts. They could now
schedule hospital rounds, do an appointment inquiry
including past and future appointments, and view any
information entered previously in the NOTES area
when the appointment was made. The Waiting List
stores appointments that need to be scheduled. They
can mark the available days and times for each
appointment in the waiting list. If an appointment is
rescheduled or cancelled, the system automatically
notifies them if an item in the waiting list can fill that
time slot.
