The Colorado Immunization Information System
(CIIS) is a confidential, population-based,
computerized information system that collects and
disseminates consolidated immunization information
for Colorado children. The Colorado Immunization
Information System enables any immunization
provider in Colorado to electronically track the shots a
child has received, thereby maintaining an ongoing
and complete record to ensure that the child receives
all recommended shots in a timely manner and is not
over-immunized. MicroMD produces a report that can
be directly imported into the CIIS database,
eliminating the manual entry of patient records.
